Ministry Details

Mission: To reach out to veterans, their families and others and help them to pursue and apply God’s truths into their everyday lives.

Objective: To promote fellowship and worship for all comers in an environment that will foster acceptance, support, and brotherly love of everyone just as Jesus decreed in his ministry. This is to be achieved through a discipleship-oriented service which is part bible study, part message related.

Beliefs:

· Jesus was the incarnate Son of God, born of a virgin, perfect and sinless, 100% man and 100% divine, crucified and resurrected on the third day.

· Jesus was sacrificed so that all who believed him as the Son of God, were cleansed of their sins and saved into heaven.

· Only through the sacrifice of Jesus can we be absolved of all sins and enter the kingdom of Heaven.

· We are saved from eternal damnation only through God’s grace and our faith alone.

· The Bible is the inerrant and infallible word of God, written by men that were inspired by the Spirit.

· God is a triune God, consisting of the Father, Son, and Spirit and that these three persons are separate, but equal, sharing the same essence of God.

· There are only two recognized ordinances of the church, that being baptism and communion.

· The greatest commandment is ‘To love the Lord your God with all of your heart, all of your mind and all of your strength. The second greatest commandment is ‘To love your neighbor as yourself.’

Conduct

· All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Because of this all comers are children of God and will be treated accordingly.

· All are made in God’s image; therefore, all comers will be treated accordingly regardless of race, gender, political alignment or personal history.

· We are here to worship God and his Son therefore it is expected that all comers act accordingly. Displays of enthusiasm are encouraged; it is the Spirit at work.

· Anyone who does not maintain these ideals may be fined a nominal amount or asked to leave accordingly, depending in the seriousness of the infraction.

· This is a non-profit ministry, and does not have a regular income source. If you feel that you have gained or benefitted from this service in anyway, please contribute accordingly. If not, you have no obligation other than to advise on ways to make it better.

· If anyone is contributing to the conversation, it is expected that all others will refrain from commenting until the contribution is concluded. Interruptions are not allowed and will not be recognized.

· Comments are appreciated and will be treated seriously if they are given in a loving, constructive manner. Suggestions for improvement are encouraged.

· At this time, this ministry is not designed to replace your regular church of choice, but to foster discipleship and knowledge of the Lord. Baptism, funeral services and other services normally performed by ordained individuals are not part of the program. If you are looking for a regular church, I will be more than happy to recommend something.
